Be prepared for a sugar rush when you drive into Arcadia, Oklahoma and see a 66-foot tall soda pop bottle looming over the horizon. Pops is a restaurant/gas station, but it is best-known for selling 500 different varieties of soda. I was overwhelmed when I walked in and tried to choose just 6, but I was very happy with my selections: 1) Sioux City Prickly Pear; 2) Joia Pineapple Coconut and Nutmeg; 3) Sprecher Blueberry Soda; 4) Henry Weinhard's Root Beer; 5) Flying Cauldron Non-Alcoholic Butterscotch Beer; 6) Virgil's Zero Black Cherry Cream Soda. This was literally the sweetest stop on Route 66!
