I've been noticing during my drive so far on Route 66 that there are a lot of old, abandoned businesses along the way, so I decided to start taking pictures of some of these ghost town areas to show you the remnants of what's left in some of these places that went belly up when Route 66 was decommissioned, and traffic started bypassing some of these once thriving communities. This is the Bel Air Drive In near Pontoon Beach, Illinois. All that remains is a decrepit sign and an empty field. It's kind of sad to see.
