The half mile trek to the Pueblo Ruins at the top of the 200-foot El Morro Cliffs in New Mexico is simply breathtaking. However, it was quite a challenge with a dog and a toddler, especially since you can't hike up the rock cliffs with a stroller, meaning we had to carry Logan most of the way. But the payoff came when we reached the pueblo ruins and had the chance to take in a spectacular view from above! This particular pueblo dates back to around 1200 A.D., and it's amazing to think that people once lived in these cliffs, enduring the treacherous terrain on a daily basis for their survival.
